SLTH offers transformative equine-assisted therapy, wellbeing and alternative education programmes to young people.
- By interacting with horses, young people develop capacities in emotion regulation, perspective-taking, communication and collaboration.
- Last year, they supported 650 young people from their yard in Barnet, North London and through their outreach programmes in prisons and inpatient units.
- Their evidence-based and expertly delivered approach has resulted in a 15 year track record of achieving positive outcomes, even where traditional approaches have failed.
- Chimo has funded the appointment of an Operations Director and the purchase of a new CRM system, both of which have transformed SLTH's capacity to expand.
Of all the therapies I've had, this is the only one that has actually been helpful.
